Backgrinding processing discharges fine silica particles with polishing properties, and the wastewater containing them cannot be reused unless the suspended solids are removed. In conventional solid-liquid separation technologies, various disadvantages arise in the treatment of this wastewater. However, it has been demonstrated through numerous validations that the Tubular Membrane System (TMF) can exhibit excellent capabilities. This wastewater treatment system not only reduces the volume of wastewater discharged but also enables the large-scale recovery of deionized water with high water quality by placing a reverse osmosis (RO) system for subsequent treatment.
